The operating data released by China Mobile showed that in that month, China Mobile had a net increase of 18.867 million 5G package customers. As of the end of November 2021, the number of 5G package customers had reached 374.387 million. Data showed that in November 2021, China Mobile had a net increase of -323,000 customers that month, and the total number of users reached 956.783 million. China Mobile's 4G customers increased by 81,000 that month, with a total of 819.26 million. In terms of wired broadband, China Mobile had a net increase of 2.244 million wired broadband customers that month, with a total of 240 million.

China Telecom's main operating data for November 2021 showed that the number of mobile users increased by 700,000, and the total number of mobile users reached 371.94 million. The number of 5G package users increased by 10.27 million in the month, and the total number of 5G package users reached 178.76 million. In terms of wired broadband business, China Telecom's wired broadband users increased by 700,000 in the month, and the total number of wired broadband users reached 169.32 million.

China Unicom's operating data for November showed that China Unicom's mobile bill users increased by 505,000 in November, reaching a total of 317.3 million. Among them, the number of 5G package users increased by 6.031 million in November, reaching a total of 149.5 million. In terms of fixed-line business, China Unicom's fixed-line broadband users increased by 877,000 in November, reaching a total of 94.834 million.

"Build" and "use" promote each other, and the 5G diversion ratio in many places has exceeded 30%

According to the latest data, more than 1.3 million 5G base stations have been built and put into operation in my country since the beginning of this year. The 5G network must not only be "well built" but also "well used" to promote the high-quality development of 5G and truly demonstrate and give full play to the value of 5G.

Since the second half of the year, many provincial and municipal operators have announced that their 5G diversion ratio has exceeded 30%. The 5G diversion ratio is an important indicator for evaluating the comprehensive operational capabilities of 5G, and is also a "ruler" for measuring the comprehensive development level of 5G. The fact that the 5G diversion ratio has crossed the 30% critical point is of great significance, meaning that about one-third of mobile broadband services are already carried by 5G networks. 5G has begun to truly take on the main responsibility and entered a new dual-circulation development pattern of "building to promote use, and use to promote construction".

The improvement of the diversion ratio depends on the upgrading of 5G terminals, the continuous optimization of 5G package design, the comprehensive improvement of 5G coverage, and the continuous enrichment of 5G applications. Beijing Mobile, which was the first to break the 30% mark in 5G diversion ratio, has installed the most advanced new indoor distribution equipment at Daxing Airport. It has large capacity and good coverage, with an overall coverage rate of 98%. It is planned to increase the 5G diversion ratio from 31% to 60% after the construction is completed. It is reported that Beijing Mobile has also launched a 100-station replication plan for traffic heat islands, connecting the heat islands into lines. Among them, the 5G coverage rate of the entire Beijing-Xiong'an High-speed Railway is 99.37%, and the current 5G diversion ratio has reached 45%. Priority has been given to the construction of high-quality coverage in the Guomao CBD and Gongti areas, and promotion has been carried out in combination with market strategies. At present, the diversion ratio in the Guomao area exceeds 35%, and the diversion ratio in the Gongti area exceeds 46%.
