China Mobile added 16.65 million 5G package users in May, totaling 222 million

China Mobile recently announced its operating data for May 2021, with a net increase of 16.651 million 5G package customers that month. As of the end of May 2021, the number of 5G package customers has reached 221.95 million.

It is reported that 5G package customers refer to individual mobile phone customers who have subscribed to 5G tariff packages, and do not include customers who have not subscribed to 5G packages and only share 5G package resources.

Data shows that in May 2021, the total number of China Mobile users reached 942.784 million, with a net increase of 1.025 million customers that month. The number of China Mobile's 4G customers reached 794.429 million, with a net increase of 3.588 million customers that month. In terms of wired broadband, the total number of China Mobile's wired broadband customers reached 222.997 million, with a net increase of 2.743 million customers that month.
