In 2021, there are two opportunities and benefits for the development of my country's 5G industry.

First, the new infrastructure strategy continues to advance. In March 2020, in order to respond to global health emergencies, help the national economy recover quickly, and promote the high-quality development of the digital economy, the country proposed a new infrastructure strategy. The strategy consists of two parts: information infrastructure and converged infrastructure. The former involves new technologies and new industries such as 5G and the Internet of Things, and the latter involves smart transportation/energy, etc.

From this, we can see that the proposal and implementation of the new infrastructure strategy not only directly emphasizes the development of 5G, but also provides support for the further growth of the 5G industry. At the same time, the various other technologies and industries mentioned therein, as well as the concept of intelligence, are almost inseparable from 5G. There are many smart terminals related to 5G, such as smartphones, VR/AR devices, drones, self-driving cars, etc. In 2021, my country needs to continue to make efforts in these areas, continue to lead the 5G replacement trend, continue to accelerate the popularization of VR/AR devices, deepen the application of drone products, and promote the implementation of self-driving cars.

The third is to continuously enhance innovation in the software and information industries. In addition to promoting the smart terminal industry, the commercial value of 5G also lies in innovation in the software and information industries, which is the key to promoting the digital transformation of traditional industries.
