Starting from September 1, the three basic telecommunications companies will completely cancel domestic long-distance and roaming charges for mobile phones. The dedicated line charges for small and medium-sized enterprises have been greatly reduced, and the international long-distance telephone charges have been reduced by more than 90%. The average charge for mobile Internet traffic has dropped to 26 yuan/GB. More than 80% of users have fiber-optic broadband, and 60% of users have access bandwidths of more than 50M. The pilot program of universal telecommunications services has been steadily promoted, and the deployment has completed the task of connecting 32,000 administrative villages to fiber-optic cables.
