Changchun Municipal Government Signs Strategic Cooperation Agreement with Huawei Cloud Computing Data Center

On the afternoon of March 31, the Changchun Municipal Government signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Huawei's cloud computing data center to build Huawei's cloud computing data center in Changchun Hi-Tech North District. It took only 30 days from March 1 when Wang Junzheng, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Changchun Municipal Party Committee, met with Zhou Daiqi, Secretary of the Party Committee of Huawei, to March 31 when the project was officially signed, witnessing the "Changchun speed" of project introduction, which became a concrete practice of Changchun's emancipation of mind, seizing opportunities, and innovative development.

The cloud computing data center will provide cloud computing services such as big data storage, exchange, computing, and processing to Northeast Asia, and build a high-end intelligent manufacturing support center, a big data industry gathering center, a modern service industry support center, and a regional information consumption center in Northeast Asia. On the same day, China Unicom Jilin Branch also signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Huawei on Changchun Government Cloud. The two parties will jointly build the Changchun Cloud Data Center and jointly promote the development of Changchun Big Data Industrial Park.

We have entered the era of big data, and data has become a valuable resource and asset. Changchun is located in the center of Northeast Asia and is an important node city in the "Belt and Road" strategy. It has unique location advantages, technological advantages, and talent advantages in developing cloud computing and big data industries.
