According to the latest data released by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, from January to April, my country's telecommunications business revenue totaled 486.2 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 6.6%, and the growth rate increased by 4.3 percentage points year-on-year. The total volume of telecommunications business calculated at the same price as last year was 518 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 27.7%.

Among them, data and Internet business revenue grew steadily. From January to April, the three basic telecommunications companies completed fixed data and Internet business revenue of 84.3 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 8.6%, accounting for 17.3% of telecommunications business revenue, an increase of 0.3 percentage points year-on-year, driving the growth of telecommunications business revenue by 1.5 percentage points. The mobile data and Internet business revenue was 216.3 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 2.3%, accounting for 44.5% of telecommunications business revenue, driving the growth of telecommunications business revenue by 1.1 percentage points.

Fixed and mobile voice services were stable but declining. From January to April, the three basic telecommunications companies achieved fixed voice and mobile voice service revenues of 7.8 billion yuan and 39.2 billion yuan, down 4.3% and 1.1% year-on-year respectively. The combined share of the two in telecommunications business revenues was 9.7%, down 0.8 percentage points year-on-year.

According to the data, in the telecommunications business, the revenue of emerging businesses continued to grow rapidly. The three basic telecommunications companies actively developed emerging businesses such as IPTV, Internet data centers, big data, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence. From January to April, the revenue of emerging businesses totaled 73.4 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 25.8%, accounting for 15.1% of the telecommunications business revenue, driving the growth of telecommunications business revenue by 3.3 percentage points. Among them, the year-on-year growth rates of cloud computing and big data revenue reached 101.4% and 34.3% respectively.
