Mobile Internet traffic maintained rapid growth, and DOU value continued to increase in August From January to August, the cumulative mobile Internet traffic reached 103.9 billion GB, a year-on-year increase of 33.7%. Among them, the traffic through mobile Internet reached 100.3 billion GB, accounting for 96.5% of the total mobile Internet traffic. In August, the average mobile Internet access traffic per household (DOU) reached 11.25GB/household, a year-on-year increase of 30.3%, and 2.66GB/household higher than December of the previous year. In terms of regional development, the western region leads in mobile Internet access traffic growth. From January to August, mobile Internet access traffic in the eastern, central, western and northeastern regions reached 43.6 billion, 22.8 billion, 31.7 billion and 5.8 billion GB, respectively, up 28.6%, 36%, 40.8% and 28.1% year-on-year, with the western region leading the country in growth. In August, the average mobile Internet access traffic (DOU) per household in Tibet, Xinjiang, Yunnan, Guizhou and Qinghai exceeded 15GB/household; the difference between the highest and lowest DOU values in each province was 11.77GB/household, an increase of 5.46GB/household compared with the same period last year. |
