On June 22, Inspur Networks held a Wi-Fi 6 new product launch conference, released a number of Wi-Fi 6 AP products online and demonstrated product solutions in multiple scenarios such as medical care and education, enabling Wi-Fi 6 products to be fully upgraded in the commercial field and ushering in the era of fully "wireless" Internet of Things. It is reported that the Wi-Fi 6 product released by Inspur Network this time is a full-scenario product launched based on the new generation of network technology represented by SDN. It has the characteristics of 3 times bandwidth increase and 4 times concurrent user access. It provides more stable, secure and reliable network connection capabilities for business scenarios such as government and enterprise offices, university teaching, and intelligent production, enabling the transformation and upgrading of industries such as manufacturing, agriculture, transportation, education, and medical care to digitalization, networking, and intelligence.
Wireless Renewal: Stability First According to IDC's forecast, 2020 will be the first year of Wi-Fi 6 popularization, and its market size in China alone will be close to US$200 million. Industry insiders analyzed that unlike 5G mobile networks that mainly focus on outdoor scenarios, Wi-Fi 6 technology, which has the characteristics of high speed, intelligence, and high concurrency, can support a speed of nearly 10Gbps, which will truly realize the comprehensive deployment of indoor smart terminals and promote the development of the Internet of Things era. "In theory, Wi-Fi 6 can achieve high-quality wireless networks and significantly improve the efficiency of supporting the Internet of Things. However, its implementation in commercial scenarios requires preparation for challenges such as the exponential growth of smart terminals and wide area network traffic control. Stability and reliability are prerequisites," said Liu Shaoyang, director of Inspur Network Product Department. Among the sixth-generation wireless products of the Inspur IAP5900 series released by Inspur Network at this conference, the IAP5920w is a high-performance, high-concurrency panel AP product suitable for hotel rooms, dormitories, wards, and offices, which can be installed on the junction box without damaging the wall decoration. The IAP5920i is aimed at enterprise-level wireless LAN applications and is suitable for a variety of installation methods such as wall-mounting and ceiling-mounting. In addition, there are two AP products that can work in both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands. Among them, IAP5921i supports outdoor environments, provides a larger coverage range and wireless signal coverage effect, and is particularly suitable for wireless broadband access applications in urban suburbs, rural areas, and ports. There is also a highly reliable, high-performance tri-band 802.11ax AP product IAP5930i, which provides excellent high-concurrency access capabilities and is suitable for Wi-Fi coverage in high-density environments such as schools, medical institutions, hotels, corporate offices, and supermarkets. It is reported that Inspur Network's new generation of wireless products can achieve better power saving management, saving up to 7 times of battery power; have higher throughput, reducing wiring investment; high concurrency and low latency to better support the wireless access of enterprise monitoring, temperature and humidity, access control and other IoT devices; at the same time, through terminal time fairness technology, ensure that users can get the same and good Internet experience in the same location regardless of the type of terminal they use. Liu Shaoyang said that all the new APs released this time support cloud management, which can be infinitely expanded in theory and support the management of 100,000 APs. APs can automatically switch between fat/thin modes to ensure that even if the cloud platform crashes, the local network can still be used normally. "Everything is for the security and reliability of Wi-Fi 6 in the current scene. Our goal is not to seize the market opportunity quickly, but to create products that are most needed by the market at different stages. After all, if the underlying technology cannot be guaranteed to be stable and secure, full wireless connection will have hidden dangers." Scenario implementation connects the future Li Jinguang, director of Inspur Network Solutions, said that compared with traditional Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi 6 has brought a series of upgrades, such as supporting high-speed and high-concurrency for multiple users, which can show better performance in scenarios with dense users, while also bringing safer, more reliable, longer transmission and higher speed. "These can be continuously integrated with technologies such as big data, artificial intelligence, and cloud computing to provide impetus for the intelligent upgrade of various industries such as medical care, education, and transportation." It is reported that the newly released AP product is an important part of Inspur Network's realization of "smart connection new network". It will be further integrated with Inspur Network's data center, enterprise network and other products, and implemented in the already launched smart medical, smart campus and other solutions. "The intelligent upgrade of the industry is mainly reflected in three aspects. The first is data-driven, which is the premise of intelligent innovation. The second is the network upgrade of traditional services with users as the center. For example, teachers and students require the display of teaching resources and the optimization of campus management services for the campus network, but for hospitals, it may involve intelligent nursing with humanistic care and refined medical information management. The demands of different industries are different. The third aspect is how to use intelligent operation and maintenance to improve efficiency and innovate. The application of Wi-Fi 6 technology will provide support for full wireless connection and overall operation and maintenance efficiency improvement." Li Jinguang said. Currently, relying on OFDMA technology, Inspur Network's Wi-Fi 6 technology can provide high-throughput, low-latency networks in dense teaching environments to support multiple children in each classroom to learn through VR electronic classrooms, avoiding dizziness and discontinuous teaching caused by bandwidth and packet loss. In the production workshop, Inspur Network uses seamless roaming technology to meet the needs of high-speed AGV carts for 7x24 hours of continuous operation; on the one hand, it creates a Wi-Fi network with millisecond-level latency and zero packet loss to support uninterrupted production operations, and promote industrial production from traditional labor-intensive production dominated by people to automation, and from fixed production processes to flexible manufacturing, thereby reducing production costs, doubling efficiency, and bringing stronger competitiveness. In the Internet era, the premise for fully "wireless" connection of the Internet of Things is to find a carrier to connect every corner of the room. For Inspur Networks, Wi-Fi 6 technology is like the key to open the door, renewing the entire scene through "wireless" and moving towards the era of indoor Internet of Things. |
