Huawei's bank-level temperature control market share in China ranks first and continues to lead

During the 4th Data Center Infrastructure Summit held by Huawei, ICTresearch, a third-party authoritative consulting agency, released the 2017-2018 China Market Bank-Level Temperature Control Annual Report. The report shows that Huawei ranked first in China's bank-level temperature control field in 2017 with a market share of 19.9%, continuing to lead the market.

As data centers develop towards high density and large-scale, energy consumption will rise sharply. According to ICTresearch research, the scale of China's row-level temperature control market for computer rooms reached 1.15 billion yuan in 2017, with a growth rate of 9.1%, which is the highest growth rate in the past three years.

Previously, Huawei's intelligent temperature control system won the bid with a 33.32% share in China Mobile's 2018 new air-conditioning terminal system integration supplementary procurement project in five provinces including Shanxi. These outstanding achievements are mainly due to Huawei's continuous investment and research and development in this field. Huawei has built R&D centers in Shenzhen, Xi'an and Nuremberg, Germany, and invests 15% of its revenue in research and development every year. The row-level temperature control products mainly include NetCol5000-A air-cooled row-level series and NetCol5000-C chilled water row-level series. NetCol5000-A air-cooled row-level series adopts a full DC variable frequency architecture, provides on-demand cooling, and dynamically matches the load requirements of the data center; NetCol5000-C chilled water row-level series adopts a modular design, and together with chillers, water pumps, cooling towers and other equipment, forms a complete temperature control system. At the same time, based on the iCooling@AI intelligent optimization algorithm, it ensures that the temperature control system is in the best operating state.
