The first phase of 10 billion yuan has been raised by multiple funds to focus on key application areas and guide the accelerated maturity of the mid-band 5G industry ecosystem.

China Unicom said that it will continue to adhere to the path of high-quality network construction and development, accelerate the pace of 5G commercialization, and promote the co-construction and sharing of 5G networks; continue to deepen Internet-based operations, build a 5G business ecosystem, develop 5G special services, and implement relevant work with practical corporate actions, continuously improve network quality and service levels, and let hundreds of millions of consumers share the fruits of 5G development. Comment: Among the four operators that have obtained the licenses, China Telecom and China Unicom are emphasizing co-construction and sharing.
